Ferrocid® 5280-S is a unique liquid product based on a balanced mixture of chlorine derivatives, phosphates and silicates. The product carries out its primary action as a sanitizing agent against the accumulation of organic material (bacterial proliferations and biofilms) within transport and containment systems of drinking and sanitary water. The product has proven to be effective in preventing and removing the accumulation of material due to the colonization of Legionella. Thanks to its use it will therefore be possible to prevent bacterial proliferation without compromising the drinkability of the water and without damaging the systems.

Ferrocid® 5280-S complies with the provisions of the BPR (Biocide Regulation) for PT4 (sanitization of drinking and sanitary water tanks and circuits) and PT5 (drinking and sanitary water).

Use: reclamation and sanitization of systems > “shock” applications – 100 and 500 g/m3 are recommended Use: prevention and maintenance of systems > continuous dosages – 30-50 g/m3 (2-3.5 ppm Cl2)
